Resolution

To change your resolution in Windows XP:
  1. From the Start menu, select Settings, and then choose Control Panel.  The Control Panel window should appear.
  2. Open the Display icon.  The Display Properties window should appear.
  3. Click the Settings tab.
  4. Ensure that the Screen resolution option is set to 800 by 600 pixels or higher.
  5. Click the OK button.  Note:  If you are prompted to restart your computer, do as requested.

To change your resolution on a Mac:
  1. From the Apple menu, select Control Panels.  You should either have the option Monitors & Sound or Monitors.
  2. If the option is Monitors & Sound:
    1. Open the Monitor icon.
    2. From the list of available resolutions, select an appropriate resolution.  Your screen resolution should change immediately.
    3. Close the Monitors & Sound window.
  3. If the option is Monitors:
    1. Ensure that the Show pull-down menu option is set to Recommended.
    2. From the list of available resolutions, select an appropriate resolution.  Your screen resolution should change immediately.
    3. Close the Monitors window.
